Sweet Globe™
Sweet Globe™ (IFG Ten) is one of IFG’s star varieties. This mid-season seedless white grape can be tasted from the end of July until September in the Alicante and Murcia areas.
With its large oval shape, thin skin, and good flavour, it is an infallible addition to a wine or cheese tasting. Its crunchy texture with hardly any acidity provokes a contrast on the palate that balances and enhances the strongest and most intense flavours.
Moreover, it is a very productive variety, with large, conical bunches, with an average size of +20 and a spectacular post-harvest performance.
All these attributes have made Sweet Globe ™ one of the most cultivated varieties in the world, and at the same time one of the most exported. That is why at Uvasdoce we call it La Viajera.
Candy Dreams™
Candy Dreams is another of the earliest special flavour varieties. In Spain it is harvested at the beginning of August.
It stands out, like its companions in the collection, for its exceptionally sweet taste, which its breeders describe as tropical with slight hints of pineapple and mango.
Its berries do not stand out for their size, but they do stand out for their round shape and intense black colour, although when treated with great care in the field, they can reach a medium size. For a perfect harvest and to feel that explosion of flavour, its sugar level must be above 20º brix, which is not difficult to achieve in this type of sweet varieties. This type of variety is perfect for children, as its flavour is very similar to that of a jellybean. That is why at Uvasdoce we call them the healthiest sweets.
Krissy™
Krissy™ (SHEEGENE 12) is a red seedless variety from SNFL.
Newcomer Krissy™ has a very bright reddish colour that makes it unique. It has a large size, naturally achieving a size of over +20mm, neutral flavour with a perfect balance between sugar and acidity.
It is a mid-season variety with a very marked crunchiness. It is also a very vigorous variety, with loose bunches and a very good post-harvest shelf life.
All these characteristics are making Krissy™ a very attractive variety not only for growers but also for consumers.
